Hello Mosaic Fans! I am updating you on my adventures so far in 2025. In April, I drove across the U.S. to Maine to deliver a commissioned mosaic memorial bench! On my way across I stopped in St. Charles, IL to work on a tile project with my friend for her outdoor kitchen.

We created tile "walls" for her outdoor kitchen, oven wood storage, and the bar ends.
As I continued my journey eastward and northward, I stopped and visited graveyards of my ancestors in Iowa, Indiana, Ontario, Pennslyvania, and Maine. Some of my family lines were some of the first colonists landing in early 1600's in Maine! They were lumberman, ship builders, and ship captains.

When I made it to beautiful Hollis, Maine, I met up with the man who commissioned the memorial bench for his wife. He told me she really loved hummingbirds and tulips. He was overcome with emotion when I unveiled the mosaic.

The picturesque final resting place of the "Tribute to Diane" concrete bench in Hollis, Maine.
