Mosaic flowers donated to Haiti hospital
My studio-mate, Kate Kerrigan, and I are finishing making a tile mosaic flower to be installed in the pediatrics ward of the newly reconstructed Hospital St Michel in Jacmel, Haiti. The flower designs were made by children from the Art Creation Foundation for Children in Jacmel. Artists from all over the world are turning the childrens drawings into mosaic flowers for the pediatric ward. So fun to be involved in such a wonderful undertaking under the leadership of Laurel True of True Mosaics!
